The problem

Your carpet holds a year of Glasgow in it

Grit off Byres Road. Rain walked in from the close. Dog hair, spilled wine, the corner the cat claimed. A domestic vacuum lifts the loose dust sitting on top and nothing else — the oily, bonded soil that dulls the colour stays right where it is, at the base of the pile, along with dust mite allergens and whatever the last tenant left behind.

That is why a carpet can be vacuumed twice a week and still look tired. And it is why every carpet manufacturer asks for professional hot water extraction every 12 to 18 months to keep the warranty valid.

We are a Glasgow carpet cleaning company that does it the slow way: proper dwell time on the pre-spray, mechanical agitation, deep extraction, then a neutralising rinse so no sticky detergent is left to attract dirt straight back. It takes longer. It lasts far longer too.

What we clean

Carpet, rug, sofa and mattress cleaning in Glasgow

One team for every soft surface in the house — carpets, rugs, upholstery, mattresses, stairs and commercial floors. One visit, one invoice.

Most people find us looking for carpet cleaning in Glasgow and book the sofa while we are there, which is the sensible way round — one call-out costs less than two. Carpet cleaning is the bulk of what we do, but rug cleaning in Glasgow (including Persian, antique and Oriental rugs washed in our workshop) and sofa and upholstery cleaning are close behind.

Beyond that: leather cleaning and conditioning, mattress cleaning, stain and pet odour removal, end of tenancy carpet cleaning with a receipt for your deposit scheme, and office and commercial carpet cleaning done out of hours. Not sure which method yours needs? The steam vs dry cleaning guide explains it without the sales pitch.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

The same process on every job in Glasgow — whether it is one rug or a full office floor.

Tell us what needs cleaning

Call, WhatsApp or use the quote form. We ask about rooms, fibre type and any problem areas, then give you your exact price on the spot — free, and fixed once you accept it.

We clean it properly

Vacuum, pre-spray, mechanical agitation, then truck-mounted or portable hot water extraction with a neutralising rinse. Spot treatment on stains, deodoriser where it is needed.

Dry in 2–4 hours

We set air movers going, put furniture back on protective pads and walk you round the job. Not happy with any area? We come back and re-clean it free within 48 hours.

Why us

What makes us different from the £15-a-room lot

The price you are told is the price you pay

Quoted on the phone, confirmed at the door, unchanged on the invoice. No "your carpet needs the premium treatment" once we are inside your house.

Two-hour dry times, not two days

Truck-mounted and high-power portable extraction pulls the water back out. We leave air movers running on anything heavier. You get your room back the same afternoon.

Fibre-safe, every time

Wool, silk, sisal, polypropylene and nylon all need different pH and different moisture. We test first. That is how you avoid shrinkage, browning and colour bleed.

Eco-friendly, non-toxic solutions

Safe around children and pets once dry, with a fragrance-free option for allergy and asthma households. Thorough rinse, no residue.

We turn up

A two-hour arrival window and a text when we are on the way. If we are running late you will hear it from us first.

Re-clean guarantee

Not happy with an area? Tell us within 48 hours and we come back and do it again free. No forms, no argument, no small print.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Glasgow?
As a guide, a single bedroom is £30–£45, a living room £40–£65, hall, stairs and landing £60–£90, rugs from £25 and a three-seat sofa £70–£95, with a £60 minimum call-out. We publish ranges rather than one flat figure because the real number depends on room size, fibre and how long the soiling has been there. Tell us the rooms on the phone, or send a WhatsApp photo, and we will confirm your exact price free — and it is fixed from the moment you accept it, never changed on the day. Use the quote calculator on this page for a realistic range in about ten seconds.
How long does a carpet take to dry?
Two to four hours for most rooms. We use powerful extraction that pulls the vast majority of the moisture straight back out, and we bring air movers for anything heavier. You can walk on the carpet in socks almost immediately; we just ask you to keep shoes off until it is fully dry.
Do you use steam cleaning or dry cleaning?
Both — we pick the method to suit the fibre. Hot water extraction (what most people call steam cleaning) is the deepest clean and what manufacturers recommend for most synthetic and wool-blend carpet. Low-moisture dry cleaning suits delicate natural fibres, and commercial floors that need to be back in use within the hour.
Are your cleaning solutions safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic solutions that are safe once dry, and we rinse thoroughly so nothing sticky is left in the pile. If anyone in the house has asthma or an allergy, tell us when you book and we will use a fragrance-free system.
Can you remove old or set-in stains?
Often, yes — but honestly, not always. Age, fibre type and whatever was used on the stain first all matter. Bleach damage and some dye stains are permanent because the colour itself is gone. We will tell you straight what we expect to achieve before we start, rather than promising a miracle and taking your money.
Do you move furniture?
We move light furniture — sofas, chairs, coffee tables — at no extra charge and put it back on protective pads. We ask you to clear breakables, electronics and anything precious beforehand. We do not move beds, pianos or full wardrobes for insurance reasons.

Before you book, have a look round

We would rather you checked us out than took our word for it. The before and after gallery has real Glasgow jobs photographed from one position in the same light — the least flattering way to shoot them and the only honest one. The reviews page carries every review we have actually received, and the star rating sitewide is calculated from that list rather than typed in by hand.

About us covers the part most cleaning sites skip: who is coming to your house, what IICRC training actually means, the difference between public liability and treatment-risk insurance, and what we do not do. The FAQ page answers the practical questions — dry times, moving furniture, whether it is safe around pets and children, and what happens if you are not happy.

Want the price first? The full price list has a guide range for every job we do, including the add-ons. Ready to go? Book online or just get in touch — a WhatsApp photo gets you the most accurate number fastest.
